The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department’s mission is to be a leading emergency service organization. This spring they have many events planned as well as their Annual Spring Recruitment Drive for summer time classes. They have the following message regarding their need for volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
Attention High School and College Students: The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department is recruiting High School and College Students for our Summer Fire Fighting and EMT classes. The AVFD has been serving the Crofton, Davidsonville and Gambrills area for 50 years. All training and gear provided. Must be 16 years or older. This is a great opportunity for students to quickly gain a lot of knowledge and skills. Plus, it is a lot of fun! Although we actively recruit all ages, the summer classes are during working hours. Registration for summer classes for fire fighters and EMTs start soon. This department relies on dedicated people who volunteer their time and their talents. To learn more, please call us at 301-261-0060.
